NANOSTEM participating in the "Science at the Cathedral" event! (28 Sept 2019 - Ely)

The NANOSTEM delegation (Alena, Roberta, Federico and Eirini from Queen Mary University of London and University of Birmingham) will be participating  in the "Science at the Cathedral" as part of the European Reseachers' night event. This will take place outside of Ely cathedral from10am to 4.30pm on 28th September.

Druing this event the NANOSTEM ESRs will be preforming the extraction of DNA out of strawberries using common things found at home. You'll be able to see DNA for yourselves and find out how this molecule connects us all.

Other hands-on activities and art displays will be available  in this arquee full of a whole host of science fun for all the family!
