NANOSTEM participating in the "Science is Wonderful" event! (25-26 Sept 2019 - Brussels)

The NANOSTEM delegation (Elisa and Eleonora from the University of Artois) will be at stand 63 called "Travel to the brain through its blood vessels". This is a joint stand with the ITN "in3 project" that also works in Elisa and Eleonora's lab at UA.

During the event the NANOSTEM ESRs will explain to the participants (kids and adults) how special  brain vessels (BBB) are compared to the ones in the body. They will use with interactive games (puzzle, memory game...) and videos (incluing the NANOSTEM outreach videos!).

They will also have a microscope with a camera to show different brain cells like astrocytes, pericytes and endothelial cells.

This  will be a great opportunity to learn about the NANOSTEM science!
